NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – ADOPT CERTAIN FINDINGS PREREQUISITE TO AWARD OF ENERGY SERVICE CONTRACT UNDER GOVERNMENT CODE SECTIONS 4217.10 – 4217.18

The Whittier City School District Board of Education shall hold a public hearing on June 14, 2016, for the purpose of taking public comment on, and considering and adopting a resolution making certain findings required for approval of a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with SolarCity, Inc. for the implementation of energy conservation services in accordance with California Government Code Sections 4217.10 through 4217.18, including findings that the cost to District of the PPA will be less than the anticipated marginal cost to the District of thermal, electrical, or other energy that would have been consumed by the District in the absence of the PPA, and to consider approval of the PPA in accordance with the Board’s findings.
